Devin L. Whitaker

A native of the Huntsville/Madison County Alabama area, Mr. Whitaker is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and President of STRATA-G.  Mr. Whitaker is a key element in the success and rapid growth that STRATA-G has achieved.

Mr. Whitaker holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (BSBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is Department of Defense (DoD) Level III Certified in three (3) career fields; to include Program Management, Business Cost & Financial, and Contracting. Mr. Whitaker has over 25+ years of DoD weapon system acquisition, technical project management and executive leadership experience with both Government and industry organizations.

His DoD career began in 1986 on Redstone Arsenal, Alabama as a DoD/U.S. Army Civilian and has included assignments providing contracts, acquisition, programmatic, technical, and most notably, program management support to large multi-billion dollar DoD programs and contracts. During his tenure as a DoD/U.S. Army civilian, Mr. Whitaker held various leadership positions with MICOM, AMCOM, PEO STRI, PEO Aviation and the Aviation Missile and Research Development Engineering Center (AMRDEC). Mr. Whitaker is well known in the Aerospace and Defense industry as a highly skilled acquisition professional, executive officer and industry leader. Through his strategic vision, leadership and expertise, STRATA-G has become well known as a leader in technical project management; weapon system design & analysis; systems, electrical, mechanical and industrial engineering; weapon system platform integration; fabrication; test systems design and production and technical support. What sets STRATA-G apart is our ability to continuously adapt to our customer's ever changing requirements. Mr. Whitaker believes in giving back...giving back to customers, giving back to employees and giving back to the community. Mr. Whitaker's attitude has always been built upon a faith-based philosophy of "where much is given, much is required" and "giving" is a key cornerstone of the STRATA-G family.  Mr. Whitaker embraces his role as a leader, role model and is active in the local community, church, local schools, civic organizations and assisting young people across North Alabama. Mr. Whitaker serves as an executive advisor to several public organizations and is a member of the Executive Board of Directors for the CARE Center, a non-profit faith based organization with a mission to have an impact on southeastern Madison County that reduces poverty through education initiatives, employment resources, recovery programs, and emergency services.
