Background

Perry Bowden is the director of strategy and growth for STRATA-G Solutions, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Aleut Corporation (TAC) an Alaskan Native Corporation, located in Huntsville, AL. STRATA-G Solutions provides Project Management, Engineering solutions, Hardware manufacturing, and integration, with rapid Prototyping, low, full rate production, and platform kitting/integration capabilities. 

Perry joined STRATA-G Solutions in 2023, and in his role, he identifies, develops, and implements near- and long-term business strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies, services, and follow-on organic opportunities for the business. He leads a diverse business development team responsible for assessing market trends that are used to substantiate long-term prospects by partnering with program management, sales, marketing, and customers to determine and prioritize their needs.

Prior to joining STRATA-G Solutions, he served as an executive director of business development, BAE Systems. Prior to his roles within the Defense Industry, he served in a Department of Defense acquisition position as an assistant product manager. In that role, he managed the cost, schedule, and performance of highly complex engineering teams as well as sensor development programs, science and technology development programs, and countermeasure test programs resulting in fielded systems directly supporting the end user needs. Additionally, he served as the senior project engineer and acquisitions integration subject matter expert for PMO-Fixed-Wing integrating complex survivability systems into various platforms. In total, Perry brings more than 30 years of combined experience in the service as a leader, aviator, Defense acquisition program manager, and executive within the Defense Industry. 

Residing in Huntsville, Alabama with his wife and two boys, Perry is a retired U.S. Army Field Grade Warrant Officer and Senior Army Aviator with extensive experience operating attack and reconnaissance rotary-wing aircraft in combat. He is a graduate of Excelsior College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and completed two certificates in strategy and customer relationships at Northwestern’s, Kellogg School for Executive Management. He is also a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University (DAWIA), where he earned his Program Management Certification. Perry is actively involved in the community and supporting the Disabled American Veterans Organization (DAV), where he assists veterans in the community with having a voice.
